Document
shredding is done in a secure area within the
EmployAbility building. Only those who have
met security requirements are allowed in this area.
After the shredding process is complete, the
shredded material is baled and banded in 1400-pound
bales and held at EmployAbility in a locked room
equipped with security. By this time, the
material is virtually unrecognizable. The bale
is then loaded into a locked trailer and immediately
transported to the recycling plant, where the
material is processed into pulp and recycled.
When you have
your confidential documents destroyed by
EmployAbility's Shred Service, you provide jobs for
people with disabilities, and you keep thousands of
pounds of paper out of the landfill.
