EmployAbility, formerly ARC Industries, is a non-profit
employment agency for people with disabilities.
EmployAbility contends that everyone, without
discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal
work. Gaining and maintaining meaningful employment is
vital in helping all people, including those with
disabilities, improve independence, self-reliance, and a
positive self-image.
EmployAbility is proud to be a Bartlesville Regional
United Way agency. EmployAbility has been providing
employment opportunities for people with disabilities
for more than 30 years.
In recent years, our
primary service goal has become supported employment and
we have opened the door to community-integrated job
opportunities in the Bartlesville area. One way we
have helped support this program is by establishing
freestanding businesses which fulfill our mission by
employing people with disabilities, as well as provide
much needed funding.
All people have abilities. It is our mission to
match these abilities to employers' needs. People
with disabilities have families, goals, desires and self
esteem just like everyone else. We all feel
validated by a job well done and understand the freedom
that comes from financial security.
